ISLAND TUGGER
The Island Tugger is an ice classed offshore anchor handling tug of 3050 horsepower originally built in 1981 for the oil exploration boom in the Arctic. The Island Tugger has performed many long range towing assignments such as a complete transit of the Northwest Passage, and trans- pacific voyages to deliver new build barges for Island Tugs fleet. Highly maneuverable and versatile, the Island Tugger is employed in everything from supporting ITB Subseas diving and ROV operations to the largest of Island Tugs towing assignments.
